just doodling away today… chemo-boy is feeling pretty good, but very very tired. so he’s sleeping alot. so I grabbed my middle monkey’s oil pastels, my watercolor paper and a sharpie then tried to think of nothing. here’s what came out (so far):
The first monthly Ladies Only 9-Ball Tournament at Luke’s (Sherman, TX) was held on June 26th had 8 players and lots of fun! 3 were local, Jerri & Heather (the owner) plus me... The other 5 were from DFW area. Lot of fun was had by all. Half way through the tournament, Doug (the other owner) added $10 per player instead of the $5 we originally posted.
7th/8th - Heather Wells / Ann Malone 5th/6th - Jerri Winnett / Sam Holliday 4th - Jana Preston 3rd - Sonja Boles $30 2nd - Sandra Adams $60 1st - Jennifer Sherman $70
Jennifer won the winner's bracket and her and Sandra split so they could all head back south. I had $80 to 1st, $50 to 2nd, but they decided how they wanted to split.
We will have one next month, I just need to see which day. I'll let ya'll know!!
HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY HAPPY HAPPY JOY!!! Tony is DONE with his chemo treatments!!! (knock wood everyone!) He has to have a catscan next month to make it official, but... unofficially... HE'S DONE WITH CHEMO!!!
