I'm in the process of designing a new line of bears...

And I can't decide if they should be "cancer bears" or "chemo bears"...  I'm leaning towards "chemo bears" at the moment...

The bears and other art sold in my Artfire Shop are to help pay for living and medical expenses incured since my boyfriend/significant other/fiancee was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.  He underwent emergency surgery on Feb. 16, 2009, just 1 week after the diagnoses.  He will be taking chemotherapy for 6 months.  Our medical bills before chemo have risen to over $12,000... the chemo treatment, just 12 of them, cost $288,612.  He is in a medical study and will get some of the 5 drugs free, which brings down the cost to around $41,000.

And he can't work... living expenses are piling up, too.  BUY A BEAR!!  :)
